Masen Abou-Dakn

Masen Abou-Dakn studied social and business communication at the UdK Berlin and has been working as a freelance singer/songwriter, text coach, dialogue author, director and song dramaturge for almost all major German television stations and various music producers, among others, since 1992. He has received several awards for his work. His book "Songtexte schreiben - Handwerk und Dramaturgie im Songwriting" (Autorenhaus) was the first German reference book on the subject and is one of the most successful music theory books on the German-speaking market. In 2015 the sequel "Mehr als nur Worte - Das Kreativbuch für Songwriter und Musiker" was published by Schott-Verlag
