In his playing, Stephan Emig combines conventional drums with the sound possibilities of percussion instruments and electronics to create his own creative and hybrid style. As a drummer, percussionist and specialist for Ableton Live, he is a sought-after sideman at concerts, TV productions and in the studio.

As part of the TV band “Sprengstoff”, the “Pop Meets Classic” and the “All Hands On Deck” band, he has accompanied artists such as Revolverheld, Alvaro Soler, Max Giesinger, Sarah Connor, Natasha Bedingfield, Joris, Tim Bendzko, Eko Fresh, Nina Chuba, Alligatoah, Conchita Wurst, Kelvin Jones, Lina, Wilhelmine, Afrob, Laith Al-Deen, Chefket, Lina, Die Happy, Leony, Tom Gaebel, Stoppok, and many more. Since 2024 he is resident drummer and producer at Big House Studio Hannover. He studied at the Los Angeles College of Music and is now an internationally sought-after workshop lecturer himself. In 2019, he published his book “5 Ways to More Musicality”, which was extremely well received in the trade press.
