Jörg Lange is SWR3 music editor, his long-standing work focuses on the "SWF3 Popshop" programme (end of the 80s) and the rock and pop up-and-coming talent of the "SWR3 Rookies". As music director for "SWR1 - Der Abend" he was in charge of the music show "SWR1 Kopfhörer" from April 2005 to Jan 2011. As an author, Jörg Lange produced the programme "Digital and handmade - rock history from 1985-2008" for SWR Fernsehen in spring 2009. He also worked on the CD box "Pop Music in Germany 1950 to 2010" by the German Music Council and the editorial team of the SWR3 CD "Made In Germany" (2012). Since autumn 2014 Jörg Lange is co-author of the series "SWR3 - Die größten Hits und ihre Geschichte". Since the founding of the Popakademie in 2003, he has been a lecturer for pop music history.
