Having trouble with forms or file uploads? This checklist resolves issues in most cases:

1. Is your browser up to date?
Outdated browser versions can cause problems with forms and uploads. Check to see if your browser is running the latest version. You can usually find the version information under Settings → Help → About [Browser Name].

2. Try a different browser
Sometimes the problem lies with the browser itself. Try opening the form using a different browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari).

3. Use a different computer
If possible, test the form on a different PC or laptop. This helps determine whether the problem is device-specific.

4. Check your internet connection
An unstable or slow connection can cause uploads to fail. Check your connection and, if necessary, try again using Wi-Fi or a wired connection.

5. Restart your browser or computer
A simple restart can resolve many temporary errors. Close your browser completely, reopen it, and reload the form.

6. Use a PC instead of a smartphone
Some features—particularly file uploads and more complex forms—may be limited or function unreliably on mobile devices. We recommend using a desktop PC or laptop.

7. ​​Clear browser cache and cookies
Stored browser data can sometimes cause issues. Clear your cache and cookies (usually found under Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data), then try again.

8. Disable browser extensions
Add-ons such as ad blockers or security plugins can interfere with forms and uploads. Temporarily disable all extensions and reload the page.

9. Avoid special characters in filenames
Files containing umlauts, spaces, or special characters in their names (e.g., Antrag München (neu).pdf) may cause errors during upload. Please rename the file—for instance, to antrag-muenchen-neu.pdf—and attempt the upload again.
