1Live Krone nominations

10. November 2023

The 1Live Krone has been awarded every year since 2000. This year, pop academy student LOI and band pool act ClockClock are nominated in the Best Song category. The 21-year-old from Mannheim is in the running with her song "Gold", while the ClockClock song "Over" is up for election. LOI is also nominated for Best Newcomer Act.

Loi, whose real name is Leonie Greiner, has been studying for a bachelor's degree in pop music design at the Popakademie since 2021. The 18-year-old gained fame on the social media platform TikTok, where she mainly uploaded cover songs and won many fans with her dark, powerful voice. She was also a finalist in the casting show "The Voice Kids" in 2017. Loi is managed by Felix Volk, who also studied at the Popakademie and completed his bachelor's degree in music business in 2021.
ClockClock consists of singer and songwriter Bojan Kalajdzic and the two producers Mark Vonsin and Fabian Fieser. From 2018 to 2019, the electro-pop trio was part of the 20th generation of the Bandpool, popakademie's own top support program for bands and solo acts. Since then, they have been on the road to success with their energetic sounds, which, as they say themselves, combine boundless creativity with hypnotic melodies and vibes.
The award has been decided by a vote by the audience for 23 years. The voting process runs until November 29. The award ceremony will then take place on November 30 in Bielefeld.
