Popakademie awards the scholarship Deutschlandstipendium

The scholarship supports students with outstanding performance in their studies for two semesters at a time and includes a monthly payment of EUR 300 per scholarship holder. Social commitment and the successful overcoming of obstacles in life and education also count. This is the eleventh year that the Pop Academy has awarded the scholarship.
The funding comes from both the federal government and private sponsors. The Pop Academy scholarships are awarded by YouTube, the Wilhelm Müller Foundation, the Hans Thomann Foundation, the Henning Tögel Talent Foundation and the Lions Club. This alliance of civil society commitment and state funding is what makes the Deutschlandstipendium so special.
The following scholarships were awarded: Talentstiftung Henning-Tögel,YouTube, Wilhelm- Müller- Stiftung, Hans-Thomann- Stiftung, Lionsclub.
Scholarships were awarded to six music business students, five students from the Music and Creative Industries master's program, three world music students, three pop music design students and six students from the Popular Music master's program.
