Popakademie at the Ettlingen Castle Festival

The cooperation between the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg and the Schlossfestspiele Ettlingen has existed for four years. This year, the cooperation will continue with the electropop show Blackbird.
The collaboration with the Schlossfestspiele is unique in this form. Blackbird features alumni and students of the Popakademie as musicians and singers. The electropop show Blackbird is a musical-theatrical encounter of a special kind: the Beatles meet Billie Eilish. The musical voice of an entire generation - what the Beatles succeeded in doing in the sixties, Billie Eilish impressively repeats in the 21st century. The artistic director is Angie Taylor, lecturer and alumna of the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg.
The artistic director of the Schlossfestspiele is Solveig Bauer.
