On September 11 and 12, 2026, the nationwide conference “AI-Soundscapes – Tools and Innovations for Music, Film & Creative Media” will take place in Potsdam-Babelsberg. The event is organized by the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg, the Zentrum Pop, and the KONRAD WOLF Film University Babelsberg.This nationwide conference on artificial intelligence in the music industry brings together practical applications, research, and artistic perspectives—ranging from tools and workflows to legal issues surrounding music production, film sound, and creative media:
- Live coding sessions
- Workshops on sound design and audio synthesis
- Sessions on sound search engines and assistance systems in the music studio
- Panels on legal and ethical issues surrounding AI music, voice cloning, and training data
- Discussions on current developments in software solutions, including those from Ableton and Steinberg
