Daniel Jakobi

Daniel Jakobi studied popular music in Dinkelsbühl and Hamburg and has been on the road as a live and studio drummer, lecturer, author and producer for over 20 years.

As a drummer - in Judy Bailey's and Lothar Kosse's bands, among others - he has played more than 1000 concerts on all continents during this time, and as a drummer and percussionist he has contributed to more than 150 CD productions.

Daniel is author of the drumming school Beginner's Drums (SCHOTT-Verlag) and the school Celebrate Jesus! - Workshop DRUMS.

In addition to his work as a drum teacher, Daniel conveys his many years of experience with great enthusiasm in workshops on the topics of "Rhythm & Bodypercussion", "Bandcoaching", "Music with Children and Teenagers", "Cajon" and in musical coaching for managers. As a guest lecturer, he regularly teaches at the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg, the tsc in Basel, and at the Bundesakademie für musikalische Jugendbildung in Trossingen, among others.

Daniel lives with his family near Heidelberg and is part of the Heidelberg artist collective "tonbiotop".
